PGNG Lab Home
The mission of the PGNG lab focuses on comparative structural genomics and genetics for traits associated with enhanced quality characteristics including health properties, in addition to other economically important plant characteristics, such as disease resistance. Crops of interest include carrot, blueberry, cranberry, spinach, pineapple, banana and sweetpotato. This research ultimately facilitates the selection of new crop varieties with improved nutritional characteristics and cost-effective production.
